Celebrate life on the bayou at this special festival

When the second weekend in October rolls around that means it’s time for the annual Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival held in historic downtown Conroe. The event features non-stop live music with local and national performers performing on two stages around Conroe.

It also features plenty of food vendors with plenty of Cajun favorites. There’s also going to be plenty of arts and crafts vendors, a carnival midway, community and educational exhibits, a Catfish Pageant and a KidZone area with plenty of fun and games for children.

It all begins at Friday, Oct. 13 and wraps up on Sunday Oct. 15.

The Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival is well-known for its live entertainment. Some of the artists slated for this year’s festival includes Aaron Watson, Tracy Byrd, Stoney LaRue, plus a large variety of Cajun music artists and much more.
